Feed 60–70 Rescued Roadside Accidental Gau Matas

At Gaudham Gaushala, around 60 to 70 rescued roadside accidental Gau Matas depend on us every day for food, care and protection. Many of these cows were rescued after accidents, abandonment, illness or severe neglect. While medical treatment helps them recover, proper nutrition plays an equally important role in restoring their strength and wellbeing.

Every day, large quantities of dry fodder, green grass, cattle feed, mineral supplements, jaggery and clean water are required to support their health. Several cows currently undergoing treatment also need special nutritional support to aid recovery and improve their condition. Feeding such a large number of rescued animals is a continuous responsibility that requires regular community support.

Through this initiative, Yuva Swaraj Foundation is working to ensure that no rescued Gau Mata suffers from hunger while receiving care, treatment and lifelong protection at Gaudham Gaushala.

Daily Nutritious Feeding

Every rescued cow requires regular access to dry fodder, green grass, cattle feed, mineral mixtures and clean drinking water. Proper nutrition helps maintain health, supports immunity and provides the strength needed for recovery. Consistent feeding also ensures that elderly, weak and disabled cows remain healthy and comfortable throughout the year.

Special Care For Recovery

Several cows under treatment require additional nutritional support beyond their regular diet. Injuries, infections, fractures and weakness often increase their dietary needs. Special recovery nutrition helps improve healing, rebuild strength and support the medical treatment being provided by the care team.

Lifelong Food Security

Many cows rescued by Gaudham Gaushala cannot safely return to roadside conditions because of age, disability or permanent injuries. These animals depend entirely on the gaushala for their daily meals. Your contribution helps create stability and ensures that food remains available for every cow under lifelong care.

Compassionate Daily Care

Beyond feeding, rescued Gau Matas require constant attention, monitoring and support. Daily care includes maintaining clean shelters, ensuring access to fresh water, observing health conditions and providing comfort to elderly, disabled and recovering cows living under our protection.

Emergency Feeding Support

Unexpected situations such as rescue emergencies, seasonal shortages, rising fodder costs and increased intake of injured cows can place additional pressure on daily feeding resources. Community support helps ensure that every rescued Gau Mata continues receiving nutritious meals without interruption, regardless of circumstances.

"When a rescued Gau Mata receives her daily meal, she receives more than food. She receives care, protection, and a reason to heal."
