Every day, injured cows can be seen near roads, highways, and village areas struggling with wounds, fractures, infections, and accident related injuries. Many remain unattended for hours, and sometimes even days, simply because immediate transportation and medical support are unavailable. For an injured animal, this delay often increases pain, worsens infections, and reduces the chances of recovery.
At Yuva Swaraj Foundation, rescue is viewed as the first and most urgent step towards saving a life. When information about an injured cow reaches us, efforts begin to provide assistance as quickly as possible. Once rescued, the animal is brought to safety where treatment, dressing, nourishment, and continuous monitoring can begin. Many cows arrive frightened, weak, and unable to stand, requiring patience and dedicated care before they can regain strength.
A rescue completed on time can prevent days of suffering and create a path towards recovery.
The reality is that healing does not begin at a shelter. It begins the moment help reaches an injured animal. Every rescue carried out by our team is driven by the belief that no helpless life should remain abandoned in pain when care, compassion, and treatment can make recovery possible.

Through continued support from well wishers and volunteers, we are working to strengthen rescue efforts so that more injured roadside cows can receive the timely help they deserve and live in safety with dignity.
